Apprenticeships
We set a high value on a well-founded education, especially for our youngest associates. With the apprenticeship program for school-leavers, we live up to our social responsibility towards the community and supply the workplace of Switzerland with well-qualified professionals. At our sites in Bubendorf and Vionnaz, we offer the opportunity to young people to receive a first-class industrial training in different apprenticeship positions. Currently, we train laboratory technicians (specializing in chemical synthesis and analytical chemistry), scientists and positions in other departments. We provide a broad and integral basic education combined with an established professional training that goes beyond the simple professional knowledge. We provide capacity for teamwork, social skills and self-confidence that in order to facilitate the young professionals’ start to working life and to plan their personal development.
There have recently been number of individuals contacting job seekers claiming to represent Bachem. These individuals are engaged in fraudulent activities that can include but are not limited to: job postings offering roles, interview invitations, requesting advance payments to cover a range of expenses and administration costs, and/or requesting personal identifying information.
When applying for roles with Bachem you will only be contacted in one of the following ways:
